Molasses Cookies

Ingredients

1 C Sugar
¾C Crisco
¼ C Molasses
1 egg
2 C Flour
2½ tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Ginger
1½ tsp Cloves
¼ tsp salt


Instructions

1. Mix sugar, Crisco, molasses and egg together until well combined.
2. Add dry ingredients. Stir together lightly, then mix until dough is combined.
3. Roll dough into balls and roll in sugar.
4. Place on baking sheet and bake 9-11 min until after cookies begin to crack.
5. Cool a minute or two then remove to a cooling rack.
